
Gourmet Toasted Sandwiches
Ingredients: Savoury
- Fettayleh Smoked Turkey
- Cheese (Kasseri), Sliced
- Tomato, sliced
- Mustard
- Dill
- Sourdough, sliced
Method
- Butter the sourdough bread liberally, ensuring to cover both sides of the bread.
- Layer ingredients to bread making sure there are even portions in each layer..
- Toast sandwich until both sides are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
- Serve and enjoy!
Ingredients: Sweet
- Fettayleh Angus Beef Rashers, candied and diced
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
- Cinnamon
- Ambrosia Cheese
- Sugar
- Butter
- Sourdough, sliced
- Clotted cream (to serve)
Method
- Add maple syrup to a fry pan on a high heat and then add the diced beef rashers. Cook rashers until they are crispy and caramelised from the maple syrup.
- Spread butter liberally onto the sourdough bread, making sure both sides are covered, add a sprinkling of cinnamon and sugar to the buttered bread, as much as desired.
- Add cheese and the diced rashers to the bread and spread evenly.
- Toast sandwich in the sandwich press until cheese is melted and bread is golden and crunchy on both sides.
- Serve with clotted cream and enjoy!!
