Manakish – The Lebanese Pizza with Fettayleh Smallgoods

 

Breakfast Pizza
Ingredients:

  1. Dough – 1 cup self raising flour & ½ cup plain yogurt
  2. Option 1 – smoked turkey, green capsicum, sliced onion, mushrooms, cheese.
  3. Option 2 – pepperoni, onion, spinach, cheese.
  4. Option 3 – cream cheese, beef mortadella, sliced tomatoes, cheese.
  5. Option 4 – sweet chilli sauce, chicken roll, onion, avocado, mushrooms.

 

Method:

  1. Add a pinch of salt to the flour and slowly add the yogurt and kneed the dough.
  2. Portion dough into desired amount of servings.
  3. Add a little bit of olive oil to the pan. Add dough and tease out to create a circle.
  4. Option 1 – add sliced smoked turkey, green capsicum, sliced onion, mushrooms and cheese.
  5. Option 2 – Pepperoni, onion, spinach, pine nuts and cheese.
  6. Option 3 – cream cheese, beef mortadella, sliced tomatoes, cheese.
  7. Option 4 – sweet chilli sauce, chicken roll, onion, avocado and mushrooms.
  8. Cook in the oven set to 220 degrees for approx 8 – 10 mins.
